On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Cooper Lake State Park employees delivered an amazing amount of food to the Delta Hope House donated by more than 1600 people! The many food donations came from the State Park’s annual drive-through “Christmas in the Park” event held on Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th. The usual entrance fees were waived, replaced by a request by the park for each visitor to donate a nonperishable food item to be given to the Hope House for distribution to clients throughout Delta County.

The Delta Hope House and our hard-working volunteers sincerely thank all of the wonderful, caring folks who donated food items, and the Cooper Lake State Park employees, who organized the event and delivered the food to the Hope House! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday season!
